Also, if your husband thanked for the presents, your job could be mentioning everyone who couldn’t make it to the wedding.
If you find it a good idea, you can also ask one of your bridesmaids to make a speech. After all, why can your husband have his best man singing praises about him and you have to sit quietly and admire? You deserve a few words of adoration from your best friend as well. Remember not to have too many people making speeches though as you might find most of your guests fainting from hunger waiting for the speeches to end.
